Matthew DeBardelaben is Standing Up for Knoxville.

Matthew DeBardelaben is a North Knoxville resident, nonprofit advocate, and a curator of local art and culture. Matthew is running to be a voice for the 4th District, building a Knoxville that works for all Knoxvillians.

Knoxville is in a moment of tremendous growth — for better and for worse. Matthew is running for City Council to participate as a steward of this change on behalf of the people of the 4th District, ensuring all of us have a seat at the table. Matthew has passion for our city’s spirit, knowledge about how the city works (and doesn’t work), and energy to listen, learn, and advocate for positive growth in Knoxville.

Matthew’s vast experience and service to the community has given him a unique understanding of Knoxville’s challenges. Now, he is running for City Council to continue his work bringing pragmatic solutions to the table and move Knoxville forward.
